MagicTitle is an init that displays the full path of the document in the popup menu when you command click the document window's title bar. Finder, CW, ObjectMaster do it on their own but for the rest of them....
You can also select a folder and it'll tell finder to open it and select
the next item.
It works with every app I tried (ResEdit, SimpleText, MPW, CW and more).
You can even get that for a stranger things than documents like control panels.
